I have a 1995 GMC SONOMA 2.2 Liter 5 Speed . When I get in the truck and push in the clutch and turn the key to the "ON" position it will not quit cranking. I never have to turn the key to the "Crank" position. If i need to post a video I can. Here are a few things I can tell you . The starter is about 1 year old. THe Battery is less than a year old. Cables are tight on the starter . ANy input would be appreciated. I keep getting 3 different answers from most of my friends. Most people say "Ignition Switch" then a close second states "Starter Solenoid" third group blames the wiring has gone bad. I do not want to risk damaging the flywheel and continue to try random things. Thanks

The answers you are getting from your friends about the ignition switch and starter solenoid are very good. Problem is that diagnosing from long distance and not seeing it in person makes it impossible to give you a fix.
Have you just put the ignition in the on position, without pushing in the clutch? If you have and the starter did not crank, you may want to check the neutral safety switch as well.
