ok well i have a 2000 gmc sonoma with the 4.3 v6. we parked it for about a month, it ran and drove perfectly when we put it away. pulled it out a few days ago and it will start but only stay running for approx 5 seconds then dies. nothing you do changes how long itll stay running except it will stay running on starting fluid. so im assuming fuel issue. checked fuel pressue. i have a steady 55 psi. and just because we replace filter and fuel pump relay. still not having any luck, we even check for code, not a single one. not really sure where to go from here... any advise would be appreiciated

hmm i would say o2 sensor but u would throw a code sometimes you dont. i had a honda same problem but it would run if u held the gas but would die instantly i changed my o2 and it fixed it. i dont want you to spend money on one and it not be the problem maybe spark plugs are bad or wiring got moisture on it maybe or a ground isnt the best. it seems weird tho how it worked before but now its messed seems ike bad fuel possibly, i hope yo figure it out good luck

Test

Check that the battery is fully charged, under voltage really screws the computer up and maybe not letting the injectiors fire.

Also, you can buy a "noid light" (autozone, etc.) that plugs into where the TB injectors to tell you if they are firing or not. If your running it on starting fluid, make sure your fuel pressure stays up. Get back to us.

sounds like a theif system problem to me. Is the theif light on or does it blink (with the key on)after it stalls ?
