I am replacing the turn signal switch on my 1985 gmc suburban, i tore the steering column apart, got the piece in there, now as i go to put it back together the turn signal arm doesn't want to stay in place. what am i missing/how do i fix this? i have the two "chilton" and "haynes" manuels, but it doesn't give much on full details with every part... any suggestions?
