how can you get the gate open on a 2000 jimmy when the acutator will not release the upper section (window)can hear noise from lock when button is pushed to release gate latch
I had the same issue with my father-in-laws Jimmy, I would start out first by checking the fuses. If that doesn't fix it the remove the molden and investigate.
