I did a search but came back empty handed,

Can anyone provide me with detailed instructions on how to access the vacuum canister in a 2000 jimmy?

I have fluid in my lines, also what would cause this?

Fluid in your vacuum lines would be transmission fluid if it's a 4wd. Common for the vacuum switch on top of your transfer-case to fail and will let transmission fluid to to get sucked up through your vacuum lines which is know to cause vent heater selection issues.

Here is a link to where your vacuum canister is located. #8 is the vacuum canister. http://www.compnine.com/index.php?u...delid=6872&capuid=1&majorgroup=08&grouptype=B
