It is about time to replace my brake pads, and I have been wanting to seriously upgrade my brake system. I already have disc brakes on all 4 wheels. A few reasons I am wanting to upgrade include: I have 18 inch wheels and 32 inch tires, I often have a decent size load in the bed, and I would like to tow a camper in the future. What I have in mind is drilled and slotted rotors, multi-piston calipers, and some sort of high end pads. I was curious if you experts had any advice or opinions regarding certain brands to use or stay away from, and if I should be doing anything different than what I had in mind. Thanks for looking and I appreciate your input!

IMO save your money on multi-piston calipers and slotted rotors, lots of hype but not really any better. I would go with ceramic brake pads though. Akebono is pretty good brand and possibly new AC Delco rotors, if you really need them.

a truck 19 yrs old, flush the brake fluid until there fresh fluid at all four corners

I thank that alone will make a big difference
