Weird question about cruise control....

Ok. I'm new to this 2000 jimmy of ours and have a question about the cruise not working. I tried it and it does not activate nor do any dash indicator lights for the cruise turn on ( not sure if there are any, either )...I did notice i have a cable near the throttle body just sitting there not a attached to anything. there is a nub on the linkage for a cable but the cable in question only has a threaded end... If I can find a clip or whatever goes on there do you think the cruise will work ? All fuses and relays are in working order and as far as I can tell the switch on the turn lever is good too.. Thanks in advance !!!

Sounds like cruise cable is missing plastic end piece. I will try to upload a pic for you. It does attach to same piece as the throttle cable.

LOL eh Jay, yha you been there before eh LOL Well the turbo went on the tour bus this weekend here in the Pocono Mt and still stuck here waiting to findout if there going to send me home, or just wait for the repairs and bring the bus back home lol.
