if the price is right - how can you go wrong?
did you drive it? is the steering loosy-goosy? wandering all over the road? how does it start? body rust? any signs of fluids leaking? brakes firm?

Thanks. I will bring a mechainc to look at it

honestly, its a 92. cant expect too much. its gonna need work in many areas. most important is to check for any frame damage. you can replace mostly everything on your truck, and i guess even the frame too but thats a huge project.

Certainly have a mechanic check it over. Sometimes, however, your best efforts to evaluate a vehicle aren't enough. When I bought my 2000 model year truck, the dealer always had it warmed up before I drove it, so I never heard the cold engine piston slap problem. And, the automatic transmission never got hot enough during my test drives to reveal the hard shifting problem that only occurs after about 20 miles . And, I didn't get under the truck to see the rusted out brake and fuel lines, and the frame rust. And, I found out too late that the previous owner only kept the truck for 3 months , which would have sent up a warning flag. So now I'm stuck with it. I can't sell it privately and get any money out of it , and I can't afford to trade it in on another truck. So, I have to keep pouring money into it to keep it on the road. But, it sure did look nice on the dealer's lot !
