What is a better truck for towing a 1988 Chevy 1500 or 1992 GMC Sierra Z71 4x4?

I need help deciding both have same engine and run great but 92 has 4wd and hitch, but some minor problems. The 88 has no real issues but a rusty frame and no hitch. Which is better overall?

depending on the issues which you just so happened to not tell us about the answer is hard to determine but the 4X4 is the better choice.
