I need to know, because I am ordering custom taillights for my Jimmy, and it asks this question.

What is the difference in a midsize and fullsize 1998 GMC Jimmy?

Full size is know as the Yukon when is was redesigned in 1995, but there are still old school's that call them full size Jimmy. You have a compact SUV, which is what it's classified and of the person you are ordering your tail lights from don't know this. I would think twice before i order it from them.

Here is where they ask whether its full or mid size, so if mine is compact, it would be midsize then? Does the size of truck go by doors. I have 4. On other sites my truck is considered full size and then on others its mid size. I parked next to another 98 jimmy one day and that truck was shorter than mine, but had the same everything else, noticed too that the truck had smaller wheels, whiched looked dumb to me.
