What is the time of oil change for Acadia?

I have a 2010 GMC Acadia.
Now the odometer reading of the car is 3950 kilometers. The oil life reading
is 75%. I'm confused with when it's time for the first oil change. 5,000 km?
8,000 km? or according the reading it is around 16,000 km? I received an
e-mail from OnStar and it said the oil change is around 16,000 km. Is it
correct or not?

The GM Oil Life System is a complex measurement tool that uses many different algorithims to calculate the life of your oil. It factors in your driving style and what kind of driving you're doing and many other things to come up with the percentage that you see. I would suggest going with your GM Oil Life System for oil changes. If you do not like what the oil life system is telling you then you can choose to have your oil changed more often or less often as the case may be. I hope this information helps you.
