I have a 2001 2500 HD with extended cab. Looking to lift her and get some bigger tires on her. I was thinking maybe about a 4" lift or so but wasn't sure. Couple friends of mine said to get 4" suspension and 2" body lift.

What would you all recommend? and what size tires would be good for her?

If you have any links that'd be great! Also if you could give me a rough estimate of the cost too.

Thanks!

Ive got the same truck, went with a 6" tuff country. I wouldnt recommend, install was a royal pain in the ass. Its not worth combining a suspension lift with a body- most lift manufacturers say not to. If you want to go that big, i would go with a fabtech or superlift kit. Kits run about $2,000, and you will need to buy new wheels with more backspacing- kits say 4.5" backspace. New wheels will run about $130 apiece- youll need to replace your spare as well. Then the tires...you can easily fit 35"s, and cheap tires that big are still over $300 each. Its expensive haha. All together, including a shop install, you are prolly gonna spend $5,000.
