Where is the 3rd o2sensor on my 1995 gmc jimmy?

I have one towards the tailpipe, one by the catalytic converter, and there is suppose to be another one upwards but i dont see it do i need to lift the engine in order to get to it.

They are always on the exhaust since thats there job is to sniff exhaust!

How Many HO2 Sensors T-W-O

I think your vehicle only has two HO2 sensors. I assume you have the 4.3L, CPI, 4WD?

One is located in front of the cat. As stated above, just start at the cat and work forward using the exhaust pipe as your guide. Start from the passenger side of the car.

The rear HO2 sensor is behind the cat. Same drill, just start at the cat and work your way back.
