Whistling sound

I searched the other threads and didn't find anything like this....

2004 Sierra 1500 4.8 litre 4X4 with 175,000 K (110,000 miles)
I have this whistling sound coming from under the hood when i accelerate when the truck is cold, it goes away after a few minutes. Not a belt squeal, it sounds like a air intake problem?!?!?!

I would have that checked by a mechanic. It sounds like you are losing engine pressure, which is not good.
