For the last 3 months or so my truck has been emitting white smoke out of the exhaust when i start it if it has been sitting for more than 40 minutes. it doesnt happen when i drive only when i start it, i have been checking the fluid levels and nothing seems to be going down from it. any ideas what this could be??
Thank again!

Could just be water condensation, but to play safe. Have your engine oil check for any fluid contamination during your next oil change. Most places can do that now and only charged about $6.00 to do and take about 10 min to do.

At worst, you have a coolant leak from your upper intake manifold and the coolant is leaking in to your intake ports.

Keep us posted.

white smoke?

It is either coolant or condensation. White could mean needing a new head gasket. If you smell it does it smell like pancakes?
