why are the brakes of 99 GMC suburban easyer to press then before. the brake

fluid is still full? And the pads are still good.
we were just driving down to the beach one day and they would not stop like they normaly do. did not chang the brakes or fluid and the fluid lvl and brake pads are fine
The pads and rotors are fine the rotors were just replaced like 1 year ago

The pads/shoes and rotors/drums could be worn. The fluid level isn't necessarily and indication of wear. The rig is 10 years old. Have a shop check it.

Easier to press before what? Did you change the brakes or fluid? If so, you most likely have air in the lines. To remedy this you must bleed the system. Hope I helped.
