Window Motor

I'm having problems with my motor on my windows and doors. I went to unlock my door with my remote, the driver door didn't unlock but all the other doors did, anyone havng that problem?

And when I go to let the windows down, sometime they go down and sometimes they won't, and when they do go down, they proceed to go up on their own!!

Anyone have any answers?

kateyes – it’s been a few days since you posted about your window and door motor. Have you made any progress regarding this? Are you planning to get your Envoy looked at?

If you are experiencing this on more than one window, then chances are it is not the window motor. I would check the master window switch itself.

Symptoms of the problem clearly showing that it is not a motor issue it is the problem with the master switch and you have to replace the switch and then check it if the problem persist so then check the motor and other possibilities.

Please be more specific. Do ALL the windows malfunction when you use the driver control switch to move them up or down, or does each window malfunction when you use that particular door window switch, or both?

For the windows to malfunction like that, I'd have the BCM checked. You might want to disconnect the battery and let it sit for 10 min or so, then reconnect and see if the problem clears.
