windshield wipers stops working after few minutes?

why both wipers stops working after a few minutes of use?
this is in S15 gmc truck
it stop suddenly and than after a while starts on its own???
what can be the problem and solution?
The solder on your wiper circuit board has gone bad, you can ether replace the board ($15.00 Napa, Auto Zone) or you can save your self some money and re-solder the board where the wire harness connects to the board.
Common for this to happen, you can test it by turning your wiper switch on and then tap the wire harness on the wiper board which is a part of the wiper motor assembly.
If the motor stops then it's the board, if not then it's the multi switch on your steering column.

So you are not worried about wiper motor itself? like its on its way to die?

If its the wiper motor it self, the wipers would be slow or would just not work at all. If that's your concern, replace the whole wiper motor unit. The unit comes with the wiper circuit board since it's the whole unit.
