Every once in awhile I have to replace the wiper blades because they do not remove all the water from my windshield.
Is it worth to buy more expensive wipers? or should I just buy the cheap and replace when needed?

I replace my wiper blades with every oil change, and extra $20 - $25 is worth not having frustration when it does rain or snow and my wipers don't clear the window. On my 2012 I haven't had any luck finding aftermarket blades that actually fit though.

I go to the dealer
they always have them in stock and they fit and use the original holder
hey come in a sealed package,
and they seem to last longer than aftermarket
always wipe new blades with rubbing alcohol
PETE

Actually that is very good advise. Should be cleaned that way every so often to help remove any contaminates and debris left on the blades.

I have a 97 Sierra 1500 I put those new michenil wiper blades and I think they are fantastic best wiper blades I ever bought. If you get them I hope they work for you like they do for me.

I use Rainex @ 16 bucks a pair. They look factory and work great. I also Rainex my windshield so at interstate speeds the blades aren't needed much. Even in a driving rainstorm. The Rainex wipers actually come with a protective sheath over the wiper that must be removed before installing. Simple to install. My two cents.
