I have an issue with the wipers on my 2008 Sierra 1500. When I turn them on they move but only a little. I initially thought it was the wiper motor which I have since replaced to no avail. What else can it be? Can anyone tell me where I can buy the parts I need at a reasonable price? Is this something I can do myself?

I have an 04 Silverado, I live in Spokane WA where we get freezing weather. I have had my passenger side wiper blade freeze to the windshield. When it happens the nut at the base of the wiper turns itself loose. I have to take the plastic cover off and tighten the nut, I think it's a 1/2". Anyway, not sure if thats your issue, but you may want to check to see if the nuts are loose. An easy way to check is, you can move the wiper arm with your hand.
