wont start

I have 93 Jimmy 4.3L engine. When I start up in the morning everything is fine . Drive to work shut it off . About 30 minutes later it wont start. Wont motor over. When engine is cool it will fire right up and run fine till I shut it down. I know nothing about these vehicles and have no idea what to do. Ant help appreciated.
