Would installing a glasspack muffler on my 96 gmc sierra v6 make it

sound like a ricerocket? theres absolutely no ENGINE bad ass sound coming out of my muffler now. stock.. i mean come on. it sounds literally like nothing.

the hiss of the engine. and a little LIGHT rumble. i dont wanna be obnoxious and cut off the muffler. and straight pipes is not an option. im a AMATEUR so take it easy.

but through your experience, would any of you guys happen to know how a glass pack muffler would sound on a v6 gmc sierra from 96.

it will sound good. I had a S10 with a 4.3 vortec. I put on a Sebring Tuning muffler, 2.5 and it was great. If you put a glass pack on , the core is too small. you need a bigger muffler. it will sound a lot like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1RL1SRTZFsUfeature=related

no it wont. it will on a 4 cyl. but on a v6 and up it will sound beefy and muscle car like. i had a v8 with a glasspack and it sounded like a muscle car. and ive had a toyota pickup with a 22re with one and it sounded a little ricey but not bad

It really depends on your definition of rice rocket, all v6s sound simaler, throatier than a 4cyl, but no v6 will sound like a v8. I have a 2000 Chevy Silverado 4.3l with a gibson catback and headers. it sounds good, but i really don't think anyone will ever mistake it for a v8. I have also had about four different performance mufflers on it, they were all simaler exhaust notes.
