Hello,
Does anyone has or have installed a Dash Cam Blackvue RD900x 2-CH & Ultra Battery B-124x or similar in their Yukon 2018 or Chevy ?
I have the cams installed, next step connecting the ultra battery to the fuse box pairing with an existing 20amp fuse via a fuse tap.
The purpose of the lithium battery is to feed the dash cam while on parking mode without drawing power from the main car battery.
All accessory power outlets have 20amp cartridge fuse and that's a dead end for me, please help I'm stuck :(.
Can 2 20 amp cartridge fuses be connected on to the original slot using a fuse trap ?
The goal is not to get the car battery involved what so over. What are other options ?

Any feed back would be very much appreciated.

Thank You !

I pulled power from the passenger side fuse panel. It requires 3 connections:
ground
unswitched
switched
I used a voltmeter to verify the correct fuses and wired my cam power to those, then up through the passenger A pillar, across the overhead then through the plastic cover around the mirror. The front camera is mounted just below the plastic cover. I do not have the Ultra battery.
Took about 15 min. 2019 Yukon Denali, Blackvue DR900X-2ch.

How did you route your cable to the rear camera?
