1990 Burb. 350 TBI. 4X4 1500. My base idle runs about 1100 rpm. On occasion, it drops down to about 700-800 where it belongs. Recently I was splashing through mud puddles, long and deep, after numerous passes I discovered my air filter was dripping with water. After a little bit of drying it out, the idle was normal for several hours. Most of the time it is in the 1100 range. I have checked the throttle body gaskets for leaks. It acts like a vacuum leak but I am not able to find one in any situation. I'm leaning towards the air idle control motor, or what ever GM has named it. Am I right or am I wrong?
